Creative Production
In creative production, stories and strategy come to life. And so do cross-functional inputs, tight timelines, asset specifications, budget limitations and many other practical bits that require pragmatism, alongside creativity. I’ve worked with freelancers, in-house content studios and external agencies simultaneously to deliver creative assets and support content strategies at Airbnb across photography, video, design and illustration.
Over the years, I’ve designed and produced a broad range of content assets at Airbnb, ranging from designing white papers, infographics and social media posts using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite myself, to briefing external illustrators on projects like this one, to leading on-location video shoots with freelancers and local Airbnb hosts, such as this project in Iceland.
Additionally, I have also developed interactive connection building moments during my time at Airbnb’s award-winning internal comms team, creating design-driven presentations, and creatively up levelling user generated content to drive positive engagement.
Managing the end-to-end concept development of creative does not happen without some serious project management skills to ensure strategy alignment, draft efficient execution plans, and deliver high value production, timely edits and a successful launch. Some of the productivity and project management tools I’m proficient at, include:
- Asana
- Airtable
- Google Suite
- Jira
- Microsoft 365
- Trello
