I am a bilingual creative writer and strategist based in the UK. I have more than a decade of experience working in the travel, hospitality & tech industry.

In 2016, I joined Airbnb in London, initially supporting the regional team in Europe, developing digital marketing strategies and looking after content production and user communications. During my eight years at Airbnb I developed myself as a strategic copywriter with a global remit, using audience-driven insights and incorporating community storytelling and diverse cultural perspectives to build meaningful, on-brand narratives.

Back in the Netherlands, I was an editor for one of the largest Dutch travel blogs, and I worked at a tourism board as lead in-house editor for several years, where I was responsible for a variety of destination marketing and communication campaigns.
